Remembering & Belonging Retreat with Wild Child Moves One

When was the last time you felt true belonging?

“True belonging is the spiritual practice of believing in and belonging to yourself so deeply that you can share your most authentic self with the world and find sacredness in both being a part of something and standing alone in the wilderness. True belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are.” ~ Brenè Brown

Our ability to experience true belonging is only equal to our willingness to be vulnerable, to expose our soft heart, to be authentically who we are and stand up for what we believe, even if it means standing alone ‘in the wilderness’.

It’s a paradox. To experience true belonging we must be willing to stand alone. This retreat will explore practices for belonging to our bodies, the earth and  community and how we develop a sense of being at home in the world.

This retreat is an exploration of true belonging. We will explore practices, rituals and connections that nurture the natural state of love and connection to all that is. Learn how to feel at home in the world.

We will focus on:

  • Belonging to the Earth
  • Belonging to Community
  • Belonging to our Bodies
  • And soul connection – embodying and being in our soulpath, our true purpose

Practices include:

  • Asana
  • Free movement/dance
  • Meditation
  • Mindfulness practices
  • Journalling
  • Philosophy
  • Group discussion
  • Nature connection

This retreat will take place at the beautiful Govinda Valley Retreat Centre, Otford, only an hour south of Sydney over the weekend of February 15-17, 2019.
